So, you're a former executive, current head coach and Hall of Fame player and your firing announcement is made public by a rookie's tweet. From ESPN:
In an update posted early Wednesday, Love tweeted, "Today is a sad day ... Kevin McHale will NOT be back as head coach this season."
I might be old fashioned, but it doesn't seem like the appropriate way to communicate the message. Either the Timberwolves don't know what Twitter is, they didn't address it with their internal communication, or Kevin Love is an idiot. Or all three.
