Everybody else is sharing good tunes, so I'll get into the spirit with the Waylon's rad new release.
Enjoy.

The Waylons are not a blog band. There’s no gimmicks. They’re not really part of any scene. They’re not really young and hip. They’re not really experimental. And their name doesn’t have the words “beach,” “bear” or “crystal.” They’re totally content with all this, quietly releasing a long string of really well-written songs that could be classified as Americana.

I think Jonny means they aren't a Tumblr band. Nice mention of The Waylons on Meccalecca.
Congrats, Karlito and the rest of the Waylons, on doing it their own way and making great music along the trip.

It's rainy, nasty rainy, this morning in San Francisco. I'm soaking wet from multiple drop-offs and errands this morning. And Oracle World taking over SOMA did not help.
Just as I was reaching my super annoyed point -- think multiple word curses, glares at lazy lane switchers, dashboard punching -- I turned on the radio to KPOO and caught the beginning of Stevie Wonder's Fingertips.
Amazingly, I'm back in a good mood.

Bruce Springsteen's first-ever radio performance and interview took place on January 9, 1973, and was broadcast live from WBCN's studios. Springsteen, who was in Boston for a week of concerts at Joe's Place (January 6, 1973) and Paul's Mall (January 8 through 14, 1973), was joined by members of the E Street Band (minus Vinnie Lopez), and was interviewed by WBCN's Maxanne Sartori.
Best quote:
"Don't you want to say a word about Asbury Park, New Jersey."
"I've been trying to get outta there for 20 years."
This is an unbelievable recording with some classic Bruce anecdotes and conversation. Songs include "Satin Doll," " Bishop Dance," "Circus Song," "Song to Orphans," and "Does this Bus Stop at 82nd Street," "Blinded By The Light."
